Participation Fee

A Participation Fee of ₹999/- (Inclusive of GST) per entry shall be paid through RTGS / NEFT in favour of FKCCI, payable at Bengaluru. Participation fee is waived off for the Students of Government Colleges in Karnataka. Proof of payment must be uploaded along with each submission.

Business Idea Criteria

The business idea proposed under MANTHAN 2026 must be innovative, feasible, implementable, and commercially viable, demonstrating clear entrepreneurial potential.

Online Submission

  • Submission of the Synopsis is mandatory and must be done online only
  • The submission must reach FKCCI on or before the notified deadline
  • Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered

Student Identity Verification

Each online submission must include one of the following, uploaded as an attachment:

  • An attested copy of the College/University Photo ID, OR
  • A letter from the College/University certifying the participant(s), along with an attested photograph

Eligibility of Participants

MANTHAN 2026 is open to students who are currently enrolled in any:

  • Undergraduate / Graduate / Post Graduate / Diploma programme
  • In a college or University located within Karnataka

Team Participation

  • Co-authorship is permitted
  • All team members must be present during the final presentation round

Team Size

Each business plan proposal may consist of a maximum of four (4) participants.

Certificate of Originality

Each submission must be accompanied by a signed declaration certifying that:

  • The proposal is original
  • It is not copyrighted
  • It is not published, under review, or submitted elsewhere

(Refer to ANNEXURE–I – mandatory upload during online submission.)

Multiple Entries

  • Multiple submissions by the same author(s) are permitted
  • Each submission shall be treated as a separate entry and must be accompanied by the applicable participation fee

General Terms & Conditions – MANTHAN 2026

  1. All entries submitted under MANTHAN 2026 may be reproduced, published, or showcased by FKCCI in print, digital, electronic, or any other media, present or future, with due credit to the author(s).
  2. In the event of any dispute, interpretation, or clarification, the decision of the MANTHAN 2026 Organising Committee, FKCCI, shall be final and binding.

Travel Reimbursement Policy

  • Students shortlisted for the Knowledge Workshops / Business Plan Presentation Rounds under MANTHAN 2026 shall be eligible for Travelling Allowance (TA)
  • Reimbursement is limited to Second Class Rail Fare (Non-AC Sleeper – both ways) by the shortest route
  • Reimbursement will be processed only upon submission of original journey tickets
